I am a pharmacologist. Mother side DNA test result is how I know if a child carries my blood. A child through pregnancy mother is by same medical technology IVF (tube child). In US, a standard IVF procedure includes DNA test results for both intended parents for verification purpose before scheduled surgery to put seeded egg into a female's womb. --March 18th, 2017
